Had dinner in the restaurant. Great wholesome food and nice western setting. Get there early though as there was a big queue when we left at 8.30. General store very impressive.

We stayed at Ruby’s Inn Campground in our 40 foot class A motorhome. Our site was one of the nicer, with shade trees and grass on both sides. Not all sites had that. We were there for quite a long time and the Wi-Fi seemed adequate, the restaurants all served their purpose. We did the Bryce Canyon Pies restaurant which was one of our favorites (elk burgers!). The fast food place at Ruby’s had great white pizza, the all you can eat buffet in the restaurant was very good and we also ate inside of Bryce Canyon at the Lodge, which was also very good but expensive. Ruby’s Campground was very large with lots of walking space however it definitely lacks a fenced in off leash dog run area! This was the biggest drawback for me! Almost everyone camps with their dogs and it would be very affordable to fence in the triangle area where the doggies could go to potty…. Just a suggestion!?!? I was glad we were close to that grassy area for the dog. We enjoyed the pond in the back also; Ruby’s should do more with that; perhaps a dock? We did the Rodeo, fun but almost every cowboy got hurt!? We also did the concert banquet dinner… FUN and met some neat folks. Bryce Canyon is spectacular and Ruby’s Inn was right there! ( Beware of Elevation… hard to breathe)

Great campground very close to the entrance of Bryce. You can drive around and find your own tent site, first come first serve. Very friendly staff, willing to help

Really nice campground. Sites have some shade and are reasonably spaced. Close to the Bryce Canyon entrance and near a very new paved bike trail. Sites are not paved but most are pull through. Wifi is very reliable at about 2 mbs. Small store at campground and larger one at the inn. Clean bathrooms and showers. We would stay here again.

This is our second time staying here. It was a lot cheaper this time as it was the off season and they had a good discount, but normally it's pretty expensive. We have a 41 ft 5th wheel and stay in the large RV lot in the back. The sites are very generously sized, and we loved the changes they made since last time. The sites now have a raised grassy area with fire pit and picnic table. It's wide open like a parking lot, but still nice because the sites are so large. Verizon 4G works pretty well and the park wifi is also not bad. In our opinion this is the best place to stay while visiting Bryce Canyon because it's as close as you can get to the entrance and even has a shuttle bus stop right on site. The shuttle bus wasn't running yet when we were there in April, but it was when we stayed there 2 years ago in the summer. It was very convenient to be able to ride the shuttle into Bryce right from the campground. I would recommend buying all your groceries before you get here. There is no place nearby to shop at. Ruby's has a grocery store where you can pick up items you may have forgotten but everything at Ruby's is overpriced so it's better to bring what you need before you get there.

Ruby's is a wonderful place to spend a week and explore the area around Bryce National Park. We stayed in the newer big rig section which is a bit more sparse in terms of trees but the sites are very generously sized and have a large raised grassy area with fire pit and picnic table. It's wide open like a parking lot, but still nice because the sites are so large. Verizon 4G works pretty well and the park wifi is Okay. Visiting Bryce Canyon is easy via car, bicycle or you can take the shuttle bus which stops right on site. There are no large grocery stores in the area so I would recommend buying all your groceries before you get here. Ruby's has a store but it has a limited selections an is a bit overpriced.

The campground is beautiful and great to take doggie for a walk ...when we were there in mid April it was easy to find a place to throw the ball and wear him out!

We ate at the lodge in the park one night and it was ok...nothing special but I am a bit of a food snob so that's why I cook in so much!

Bryce Canyon National Park should be on everyone's Must Do list, and if you're looking for a campground, this is the place to be. Beautiful campground and HUGE! Right at the entrance to the NP and the shuttle stops right here. Easy. This campground is owned and managed by Best Western (the whole town is, actually). Check-in was pretty easy, but it is a very large, very busy campground, so there can be a line at times. Parking for registration is kinda awkward and can get congested - there really isn't a designated registration parking area, so everyone just pulls in where they can.

We had a Big Rig site in the new portion, which is in the back section of the property. Ours was not the "premium" site, so we did not have the grassy lawn area between sites, just gravel, but it was still really nice. As mentioned in previous reviews, the sites in this new section are very, very large. A lot of space between you and your neighbors - it's basically just a huge, gravel parking lot with very sparse, young trees that aren't yet developed enough to provide any shade or privacy, but because of how much space there is between each site, privacy isn't really an issue. Nice picnic tables and fire rings. Our site was not level; there was a bit of a ditch running through it that we had to straddle. Cell coverage was "okay", but could get spotty (1 bar Extended to 3 bars 3G), so we did have to use our WeBoost, which got us one bar of 4G/LTE with Verizon (our boondocking friends in Dixie National Forest north of Hwy 12 had awesome Verizon coverage with 3-4 solid bars of 4G/LTE!). Wi-Fi was pretty good, but could get bogged down at peak hours. There were Wi-Fi towers evenly scattered throughout the park.

The sites in the older section are heavily treed and looked really beautiful. Yes, they are closer together, but if I was to visit in the summer, that's where I would want to be. The heavy tree coverage looked to provide very good privacy between sites. We saw very large Class A's in this area, but I would be particular when requesting a site with a large rig.

Right outside the campground is a beautiful walking path/bike path that runs the whole length of the Red Canyon. We don't have bikes, but this gorgeous trail really made me wish we did. Speaking of Red Canyon, if you're coming from the West into Bryce Canyon City, you will go through two tunnels that are 13'6" - there is a sign warning you of these tunnels as you turn onto Hwy 12 from 89.

Eating establishments are, for the most part, run-of-the-mill tourist diner type places. We did eat dinner one night at the Bryce Canyon Park Lodge, which we enjoyed, but it was very expensive. There are groceries at Ruby's Inn General Store, within walking distance of the campground, and it has a decent selection of frozen cuts of butcher meats - chicken, steaks, pork chops, bacon, sausage, etc. and some fresh produce, frozen fruits/veggies, beer, pre-packaged deli meals, paper products, etc. If this doesn't suit, Panguitch has a great little grocery store called Joe's Main Street Market that should get you pretty much anything you need.

While we weren't pleased with our space (no trees, no usable fire pit), we would stay here again and make specific requests. I also think the partial hook up spots were WAY better than full hook up (where we were). You can walk to "town", shuttle to Bryce is right there, really quiet campground.

They have multiple parts to the campground. 1 of the RV parts is just a huge parking lot with no shade and small grass areas spread out for some sites. Other parts are very shaded. Tents are scattered about. Your experience here could vary wildly from mine (shaded, fairly private site) which is why I'm not bumping this to 4 stars. Also watch out for low hanging branches. I saw a scrape up next to me.
Bring your groceries. The onsite grocery store is outrageously priced.

Bryce Canyon is spectacular and you could not have a better location. There is an off road bike path that runs right across the street from the park and you can ride your bike a couple of miles to Bryce Canyon. Then it continues through the entire canyon. The hiking is great and it's also a very accessible park for people that don't want strenuous activities. You can see pretty much all of the great lookouts from parking the car and walking over.

Internet on ATT was great. I was getting 20+ d/l speeds throughout the entire day. Verizon was terrible for d/l speeds but voice worked. No T mobile.
The wifi was ok during non peak times, pretty unusable during peak.
Dog owners note, Bryce Canyon only allows dogs on 1 small paved trail and other paved areas but nearby is Kodachrome State Park which is dog friendly and I hiked some awesome trails there with the pups.

All in all, the best place to stay but bring your food with you.

The start of the bike path into Zion, the shuttle in. So much so close. If you have a MH and no toad, this place is awesome. Lots of local eateries. We were placed across from the group sites so it was a little noisy during the day, but night was fine.

The only issue is the campfire rings are weirdly placed so we ended up with our neighbors in our site using one of the 2 fire rings in it. It was super weird. They had one on the other side of them, but I guess it was too far up?
